Intended Use
ST2 test kit (Dry Fluorescence Immunoassay) is intended for in vitro quantitative determination of soluble growth stimulation expression gene 2 protein in serum and plasma of human.
The soluble growth stimulation-expressed gene 2 protein (ST2) is a member of the interleukin 1 (IL-1) receptor family. The protein has four subtypes, ST2L, SST2, ST2VS and ST2LV. ST2 levels predict prognosis in patients with acute myocardial infarction and heart failure. The commonly used ST2 detection methods in clinical laboratories mainly include fluorescence chromatography, enzyme-linked immunoassay, etc.
